The 'Action Plan for Continuous Improvement of Air Quality in Henan Province' has been released.
Release time:
2024-06-28
Recently, the Henan Provincial People's Government issued the "Henan Province Air Quality Continuous Improvement Action Plan" to improve the atmospheric environmental management system, effectively enhance pollution prevention and control capabilities, and promote comprehensive, systematic, and source governance of air pollution. Actively carry out the shutdown and integration of coal-fired boilers. In principle, no new self-owned coal-fired units will be added in the province, and no new coal-fired boilers will be built except for centralized heating. The implementation of clean energy alternatives for self-owned coal-fired units is encouraged. Completely eliminate coal-fired boilers with a capacity of 35 tons/hour or less, as well as tea boilers and commercial stoves, and basically eliminate coal-fired facilities for grain drying, agricultural product processing, etc. Accelerate the construction of heating pipe networks, carry out long-distance heating demonstrations, and fully utilize the heating capacity of cogeneration power plants. By the end of 2025, coal-fired boilers and backward small coal-fired cogeneration units (including self-owned power plants) within a heating radius of 30 kilometers from cogeneration power plants with a capacity of over 300,000 kilowatts that meet the conditions for heating alternatives will be shut down or integrated.
